Who I am

I'm Sabbir Ahmmed, a Senior Software Engineer at Appstick with 4+ years of experience building scalable full-stack applications, cloud-native systems and AI-powered solutions.

My focus is backend engineering and system architecture: distributed services with NestJS and Go, asynchronous workloads with RabbitMQ and BullMQ, and data layers on PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Redis. I also own the infrastructure — AWS, GCP, Docker, Nginx and CI/CD pipelines.

Lately I have been building retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) platforms with open-source LLMs, embedding models and vector databases, turning business knowledge into conversational search.

I enjoy leading technical initiatives across the full software development lifecycle and designing software that is reliable, fast and easy to maintain.
