Every project starts with a goal and a strategy. Here is what I set out to achieve, how I engineered it, and where each one stands today.

  1. SaaS2026 — PresentOngoing

    GPI Connect

    Architecture & full-stack engineering

    Target
Give organizations a trustworthy, real-time picture of who is present and available — without extra hardware and without manual follow-up calls.
    Strategy
Built as a multi-tenant SaaS with a Go API, a Next.js web console and a React Native mobile app. Each organization is isolated, with role-based access for administrators, managers and members, and presence data flows to a live board in real time. The verification approach is intentionally kept private.
    • One platform serving education, corporate, government and private-sector organizations
    • Web console, public live board and mobile app working from a shared API
    • Live in production at gpiconnect.com

    Msar Amen

    Backend & API engineer

    Target
Make booking safe, affordable rides within and between Saudi cities effortless — on demand or scheduled, from a single app.
    Strategy
A location-aware backend with geofence-based dynamic fare calculation and real-time ride tracking over Socket.IO. RESTful APIs cover ride booking, trip management and driver workflows, including on-demand and scheduled rides, deliveries and station queues. Maps API usage is optimized with request caching and efficient route handling to cut cost while keeping maps fast.
    • Real-time tracking and event-driven updates reduced order-processing latency by 20%
    • Lower Maps API costs through request caching and route optimization
    • Supports on-demand, scheduled, delivery and train-station queue rides
